Mildred and Richard Loving, the inspiration for the Connecticut Fair Housing Center’s annual Civil Rights Dinner, are recalled in a new photography exhibit at New York City’s International Center for Photography. More than 50 pictures depict the ordinary lives lead by Mildred, Richard, and their children and illustrate the importance civil rights laws play in the lives of ordinary people.
