Our partners:
We have run clinics in Hartford since 2009 with the University of Hartford’s Paralegal Studies Program. We have run clinics in Fairfield County since February 2011 with Homes Saved By Faith. The clinics in Fairfield County are jointly sponsored by the mayors of Bridgeport, Stamford, and Norwalk: Bill Finch, Michael Pavia, and Richard Moccia.
A representative from the state Department of Banking and a Foreclosure Mediation Specialist from the state’s Judicial Branch speak at the legal clinics, along with one of the Center’s Foreclosure Prevention attorneys.
Additional Presentations for Homeowners:
We also speak at HUD/CHFA-approved housing counselors’ orientations in the greater New Haven area and in New London County. These orientations require pre-registration and include a short talk on the foreclosure and mediation process by a Center attorney.
