Seminar on Foreclosure Prevention Strategies Scheduled
Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and the Pro Bono Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association are sponsoring a seminar for attorneys and housing counselors on foreclosure prevention strategies for borrowers in danger of foreclosure. Organized by the Connecticut Fair Housing Center and taught by local attorneys and nationally known experts from the National Consumer Law Center, the seminar is free to any attorney or paralegal willing to donate his or her time to assist borrowers faced with foreclosure. Housing counselors will receive valuable training on how to review loan documents and negotiate with loan servicers. For more information and to register, click here.
